    School Council

Our School Council is an important part of pupil voice at our school. Each class elects two representatives, chosen by their peers through a democratic vote. These pupils speak on behalf of their classmates and help shape positive changes across the school.

The School Council meets once every term to share ideas, discuss key issues, and plan projects that make our school an even better place to learn and play.

    Roles and Responsibilities

School Council representatives take on a number of important responsibilities, including:

    • Listening to their classmates and gathering ideas, suggestions, and concerns
    • Thinking of others and representing the views of the whole class fairly
    • Sharing feedback from meetings with their peers and teachers
    • Planning and supporting improvements around the school, from learning spaces to playtime activities
    • Working together to promote kindness, respect, and a strong school community

Our School Council helps pupils develop confidence, leadership, and teamwork while ensuring every child has a voice in how our school grows and improves.
