    🌱 Our Eco Council Overview
The Eco Council is a passionate group of young change-makers who are determined to build a greener, more sustainable future for their school and the wider community. They meet termly to discuss environmental issues, explore solutions, and take meaningful action. Their mission is simple but powerful: to help everyone become more conscious of the world around them and to inspire small, everyday choices that make a big difference.

    🌍 Children’s Ideas for a Sustainable Future
The council members bring a wonderful mix of creativity and practicality to their discussions. They’ve suggested ideas such as reducing single-use plastics, setting up paper‑recycling stations in every classroom, and encouraging staff to switch off lights and devices. Many children are also keen to promote walking, cycling, or scooting to school to cut down on pollution. They’ve even begun writing pledges to share with their peers how small actions—like respecting our school grounds—can protect and preserve our planet.

🌿 Exciting News: A Gardening Club Is Coming Soon!
One of the Eco Council’s most exciting projects is the upcoming launch of a brand-new gardening club—so keep an eye out for this. The children hope to grow vegetables, herbs, and flowers, transforming our vast school grounds into a thriving green space. Their vision is to learn how food grows, support local wildlife, and share their harvest with the school community. This hands‑on project will help pupils (and our community) develop a deeper connection to nature and a stronger commitment to caring for their world.
